One of my mom’s dearest friends, Paige, graciously threw me a beautiful shower for all of our friends in the DC area back in July. It was primarily my mom’s friends there, but friends that were stationed with us at all different points of of my dad’s military career. Paige did a beautiful job with everything & one of her gifts to me was a book with marriage advise from everyone that attended the shower. It was so sweet and touching and we were given all sorts of great advise, everything from “communication & compromise” to “invest in saucy lingerie” & “fight naked”!
