Some of our friends, the Winslows, asked me to take their family Christmas pictures. It was really important to them this year because their three year old son, Preston, just beat leukemia. He’s been done with treatments & cancer-free for 5 months now – looking at him you’d never even know he was that sick- even his hair has completely grown back. Their youngest daughter, Stephanie, was actually born right in the middle of Preston’s 6 month treatment regiment and they have never had pictures taken of her. I was thrilled when they asked if I would take their pictures, but also knew that it would be a huge challenge with 3 kids under the age of 5….luckily we did get a few family pictures where everyone is looking at the camera & smiling!
Oh yes – I did bribe the kids with candy….worked like a charm!! :)
