For Alan’s 28th Birthday this year we had planned a group camping trip about an hour north of Houston. He was so excited about it, we had been planning it for about a month. Well go figure, the Tuesday before we were supposed to leave, Houston & all surrounding areas fell under a burn ban. So after some long debating, we decided to nix the idea, because what is camping with out a fire. However, we did still give Alan a camping themed Birthday party in Houston, complete with plaid shirts, s’mores & a campfire. We went to a fun restaurant called “BRC Bar & Grill” (one of Alan’s favorites) & then our friends Eric & Katie hosted a house party.
