We are under contract!!!

Well, we weren’t planning on looking for a house until a good 6-9 months after the wedding (and for that matter, we weren’t actively “looking”) but we came across a house we loved in a neighborhood we loved and decided maybe it was the right time.  After a little negotiating, we finally came to terms and are under contract!  Closing is scheduled for April 18th, but is dependent on the seller fixing some things, so keep your fingers crossed that everything goes as planned.

The house was built in 1969, but was taking down to the studs & remodeled.

So, that’s it!  We are very excited & will slowly be getting new furniture to outfit the house.

Michelle’s Baby Shower

My girlfriends & I threw a baby shower for our sweet friend, Michelle a few weekends back.  She is expecting a little baby boy, Jaxson, in May.  I think this was the first baby shower for most of us to host & we had so much fun decorating & setting everything up.  We even spent the Friday night prior making our own poms out of tissue paper & I must say they turned out pretty good for our first time!
